Have you employed someone recently who has amazed you in terms of technological, communication and security skills? Scotland has some of the UK’s best talent much in demand from the rest of the UK. Are you newly employed in the industry and exceeding your employer’s expectations? Do you have exceptional problem solving skills, communication or technological skills and are expected to go far? In that case you may wish to be recognised as Scotland’s best new cyber talent.

This award will recognise the best new talent in Scotland. The winner will demonstrate their journey into cyber security and why their employer considers them to be an exceptional talent.

This can relate to an individual or a company. We are seeking someone with a fresh and individual approach who will act as a role model for others. It may relate to a specialism, a new area of development or a company who will change process.

Criteria

  • Be employed in a company as an employee, intern, or volunteer since 1st January 2016.
  • Be employed in Scotland in a cyber security role
  • Have never been previously employed in a cyber security role or have returned to the sector after a career break of at least 5 years
